Partnering with Project Encephalon

Back in March, Parmvir was asked to speak about her day job as a neuroscientist for an organization called Project Encephalon (PE). Although we hadn’t heard of them before, we discovered a thriving community of trainee-led folks all interested in neuroscience. From their journal club, to an online neuroscience conference, to an week-long event series for the late and great Santiago Ramón y Cajal, their passion for the subject is so evident, and their love for it truly infectious.

The project encephalon logo, which consists of a graphic of a brain, surrounded by icons representing people.

We had the pleasure of sponsoring their events for Cajal Week, and have gotten to know members of their team better in the past few months. Thanks to our shared goals of making science more accessible and inclusive, we are excited to be partnering with PE to bring science to new audiences.
